The Carriage Barn Arts Center and Town Players of New Canaan at The Powerhouse Theatre have combined 120 years history, and with your support, we will continue to inspire and entertain for the next 100+ years.
Thrills and chills await you on the evening of October 23rd! Join us for a special event night to support the Arts in New Canaan. The Carriage Barn Arts Center has joined up with Town Players of New Canaan to create a chilling fright night for you. It’s a Spooky Soirée featuring wine and hors d’oeuvres at the Carriage Barn, followed by the Victorian ghost story play, The Turn of the Screw at the Powerhouse Theatre.

Sip wine in the barn, then walk over to the Powerhouse Theatre for a ghost story you won’t forget. The Turn of the Screw by Douglas Jones is based on Henry James’s novella, and is revered as one of the greatest ghost stories ever told.
Only 100 tickets available! So don’t miss out on what promises to be “the place to be” on Saturday, October 23 from 6pm – 10pm.
$75 ticket for general admission play and soirée. $200 VIP ticket includes reserved seating for the Powerhouse Theatre play, one-year membership to the Carriage Barn Arts Center with listing in program/signage.
