Bridgeport: HARTFORD HEALTHCARE AMPHITHEATER TO HOST FREE CONCERT BY GREATER BRIDGEPORT SYMPHONY IN CELEBRATION OF BPT200

BRIDGEPORT, CT — In celebration of BPT200, Hartford HealthCare Amphitheater will host a free concert by the Greater Bridgeport Symphony (GBS) presented by Andrea & Irv Kern on September 4th at 7:30pm. BPT200 celebrates the establishment of Bridgeport in 1821and will kick off a weekend-long celebration with five-thousand free tickets for the GBS concert in the City of Bridgeport.

are proud to be a part of the Bridgeport community and look forward to continuing our
support of the city and its citizens. What a great
time to open, just in time for the BPT 200 celebration.”

“GBS is thrilled to be performing for a live audience again, especially in this kick-off season for the new Amphitheater,” stated Symphony Executive Director Mark Halstead. “This is a concert for all ages, and is the perfect way for kids — and adults — to experience the sight and sound of big orchestral music.”

The Greater Bridgeport Symphony will play a night of pop favorites joined by acclaimed American orchestra leader and guest conductor Chelsea Tipton II.
